What Happened To Pierre 'P' Thomas? Quality Control Co-founder in ICU After Heart Attack
Times Now News

Pierre “P” Thomas, the co-founder of Quality Control Music, is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital after suffering a heart attack, according to reports [2.1].

Thomas, 45, is receiving specialized medical attention while family members remain by his side to consult with his medical team regarding his ongoing care and recovery.

Quality Control Music issued a public statement confirming that Thomas is alive and under medical supervision, while requesting privacy for both him and his family during this time.

Along with Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Thomas co-founded Quality Control Music in 2013, transforming the Atlanta-based operation into an influential independent hip-hop powerhouse.

Under their leadership, the label guided numerous prominent acts to mainstream stardom, including Migos, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, and City Girls.

The prominent executive team was recognized for their industry impact when they received Billboard's Executive of the Year Award in 2018, followed by Thomas receiving the R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players' Choice Award in 2023.

The label's massive footprint expanded further in February 2023 when South Korean entertainment giant HYBE acquired QC Media Holdings in a multimillion-dollar transaction.

Forty-five is way too young for something like that. Really hoping he pulls through and recovers completely.

Did anyone else notice how many big artists came out of that label? Wild to think how much they shaped modern hip-hop.

Another reminder that stress and the music industry grind will catch up to you eventually. Wishing him the best.
